Boston – Statement from Amy Rosenthal, Executive Director of Health Care for All, in support of “An Act to Advance Health Equity” (H. 1250 and S. 799):
“Health equity is central to Health Care For All’s mission, and we are proud to stand with the Health Equity Compact and their partners in support of ‘An Act to Advance Health Equity.’ Too often, racial inequities within our health care system result in less accessible and affordable coverage and care for People of Color. This is unacceptable. We have an opportunity for Massachusetts to continue to be a national health care leader. Now is the time to take action to advance health equity. We urge the Legislature to support and move this bill forward.”
