In July 2025, Congress passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OB3), which included the largest eligibility and funding cuts to Medicaid (MassHealth here in Massachusetts) in the program’s history.
In August 2026, Health Care For All hosted a series of free webinars to explain the upcoming changes to MassHealth resulting from OB3, including federal work requirements and more frequent eligibility renewals. Nearly 1,700 people attended, including enrollment assistors, community health workers, and front desk staff, who will draw on these skills in their work supporting MassHealth members.
