Expanding Access to Women’s Health in Massachusetts Project

Expanding Access to Women’s Health in Massachusetts is a collaboration between Health Care For All (HCFA) and KPMG, with input from community-based organizations and with funding from the Massachusetts Division of Insurance (DOI).
The goal of this project is to better understand the experiences of women and people who have women-specific health care needs when accessing preventive health services that are required to be covered at no cost under state and federal law, including the Massachusetts ACCESS Law and the Affordable Care Act.
We want to hear about experiences with services such as routine checkups, preventive screenings, and birth control and contraception.
You are eligible to participate if you are a woman or use women’s health services, are between the ages of 19 and 64, live in Massachusetts, and have private health insurance (through your employer, your spouse’s employer, or purchased directly through ConnectorCare or an insurance carrier.)
