About Amanda

Amanda is a HelpLine counselor for Health Care For All, covering the Spanish and English phone lines. Amanda collectively brings years of experience working as a Residential Counselor and Mental Health Specialist with various organizations including Cambridge Eating Disorder Center, McLean Hospital and the Home for Little Wanderers. Amanda has worked for inpatient, CBAT and residential treatment programs supporting children and adults seeking mental health care. Additionally, Amanda has several years of volunteer experience answering calls and texts for the National Suicide Hotline. Her experiences working in the field of Behavioral Health have ignited her passion to advocate for language access within health care, health care access, and health care affordability. She is delighted that she has the opportunity to connect individuals with health care access on the HelpLine.
