About Alex
Alex Sheff is Senior Director of Policy and Government Affairs at HCFA. Alex’s work focuses on health care affordability, social determinants of health, delivery system reform, prescription drugs, health care for older adults, and oral health integration. Before joining HCFA, Alex served as the Senior Program Manager for Medicaid Strategies at Mass General Brigham (formerly Partners HealthCare), where he led the development and operation of their Medicaid Accountable Care Organization. He also previously served as the Senior Health Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, where he oversaw her health care portfolio and worked on passage of legislation such as the Affordable Care Act and the Excellence in Mental Health Act. He holds a B.A. from Vassar College, and an M.P.A. from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
