In response to the Massachusetts House’s release of their primary care proposal, Jennifer Lemmerman, Executive Director of Health Care For All issued the following statement:
“Today’s House action will help patients access more timely, affordable primary care and begin to address the deep concerns about primary care access we hear from patients on our HelpLine every day. The strength of this effort is in key components which make timely, meaningful reforms: increasing spending on primary care, changing how care is paid for, and expanding the health care workforce. We applaud Speaker Mariano, Chair Michlewitz and Chair Lawn for taking action on this critical issue and look forward to working with our partners to advance this bill in both the House and Senate.”
