About Kim

Kim Shellenberger has over 25 years of experience in health care policy and health care improvement for vulnerable populations. As the Chief Strategy Officer at Vinfen, she oversees Vinfen’s programs in care integration, including the developing Community Partners programs and Vinfen’s One Care Health Home.  She is also responsible for the development of new services, innovative technologies, and partnerships that improve outcomes and quality for the people served.

Kim also serves as a national consultant in the areas of community-based population health and health and human services integration working with a Northeastern University team. Prior to Vinfen, she worked Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA), the Medicaid-Medicare health plan and health care delivery network, leading the development and implementation of its One Care program, Massachusetts’ duals demonstration for people with disabilities.  Kim began her career in health care policy and advocacy working as a community organizer at Health Care For All and, later, at Community Catalyst. She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
