About Wanda

Wanda Cordova is the CFO of the Forsyth Institute, where she leads the organization’s financial planning, cost accounting, cash management, procurement, investments, and contracts/grant administration. Wanda’s experience in research budgets and a strong understanding of the intricacies of an independent academic research organization is crucial, enabling the Institute to pursue its mission of improving oral and overall health.

Wanda has more than 18 years of accounting and financial management experience, having previously worked as the Controller at the Broad Institute. In this role, Wanda was responsible for ensuring proper internal controls, safeguarding of assets, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Wanda also worked closely with senior leadership to develop strong financial reporting in support of strategic management. Prior to joining the Broad, Wanda spent eight years in the assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the four largest accounting firms in the country. Wanda received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University in 2002 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2006.
