About Carlos
Carlos Solís has been employed by HCFA since 2007. In addition to his work at HCFA, he has served as a freelance reporter for several Hispanic newspapers, including La Semana, Siglo 21, El Planeta, and El Mundo. Carlos also worked as a correspondent for major Nicaraguan newspaper, El Nuevo Diario. He is also an experienced filmmaker, being co-director and co-producer of the 2005 documentary “NICA/ragüense,” which was awarded Best Documentary at the XIV Costa Rican Film Festival.
