”Health Care For All is a terrific place to work for fellow mission driven people who are looking for a job helping to make the health care system more accessible and affordable to patients. HCFA has a great work environment that allows employees to have a good work-life balance and a dedicated team that takes their jobs seriously. At HCFA you feel like you are joining a community when you join our team. I joined HCFA because I was interested in how policy changes can be implemented most beneficially for the intended populations. One of my favorite parts of my job is that I hear directly from people across the Commonwealth and identify systemic issues and work with state agencies and stakeholders to fix the problem.Hannah FrigandDirector, Education & Enrollment Services
HCFA in the Community
If you are passionate about social justice and making health care more accessible, Health Care For All is a great fit for you! Health Care For All is Massachusetts’s leading consumer advocacy agency. Recently, Health Care For All has played a crucial role in helping vaccinate the state’s hardest hit, most underserved communities.
Health Care For All also has a call line, HelpLine. The HelpLine counselors assist thousands of people each year in numerous languages, helping them enroll in health insurance and access medical care. HCFA is also very active in the state-level policy scene, using the work we do to help inform and promote better health policy for everyone in Massachusetts.
At Health Care For All, we strive to make our hiring process as equitable as possible.
Health Care For All does not discriminate in hiring based on age, color, ethnicity, race, national origin, primary language, religion, socio-economic status, family status, mental and physical disabilities, veteran status, gender identity characteristics and/or expression, sex, medical condition, sexual orientation or any classification that is protected by federal state or local law.
It is vital for our staff to reflect the diverse communities for which we work. People of color, LGBTQ+ identified people, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and people who speak a language in addition to English are encouraged to apply.
“I started working at HCFA as a HelpLine counselor during the pandemic, and have never felt more welcomed in a place I had not been to before. Working here is a growth opportunity not only as an employee but also an individual. As a HelpLine Counselor, I am honored to work directly with consumers and provide them with the right resources. Each day I am inspired by our work, dedication and mindfulness about our mission, to advocate for health care in Massachusetts.”
